# Position Information

Job Description
**This position is paid by the hour and is limited to working an average of 28 hours per week. Also, there are no paid benefits associated with this employment opportunity.**

This position will assist in the timely processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing correspondence in order to meet critical deadlines and to serve as a courier for hand deliveries to various locations outside the agency. This position is responsible for assisting in organizing and maintaining agency supply inventory and accepting supply deliveries. This is a hourly paid position requiring work hours of 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., with flexibility to work an alternate schedule to meet the agency's business need.
## Minimum Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to operate office machines including copiers and fax;
* Ability to understand and apply policies and procedures;
* Ability to perform basic math computation;
* Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks within established time frames;
* Ability to participate and contribute in a team environment;
* Ability to handle multiple priorities and respond professionally to frequent interruptions and/or changes;
* Knowledge and experience with personal computers and office software including Microsoft Office suite.
* Knowledge of various office equipment operation;
* Excellent oral and written communications skills required;
* Experience in office services and customer service environment;
* Ability to work with a variety of internal and external customers and provide excellent customer service;
* Valid driver's license in good standing with an acceptable record. Must not have had driver's license denied, suspended, or revoked within the past 24 month period.
* Ability to lift 50 pounds or greater.
* High school graduate or equivalent;
* Experience in the use of office equipment.
* Knowledge of basic office practices and procedures;
## Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of mail room equipment operation preferred;
* Knowledge of available postal services and rates would be helpful.
